Created by Mr. (Late) Ambalal Chokshi, R Narayan Jewellers has stood tall for 81 years celebrating generations, traditions and design at the forefront. It has been a journey to explore timeless & classic creations for individuals who have shared the same passion and celebrate the culture & traditions of India while recognizing the opulence, artistry and flamboyance that our country represents.
Our Inspiration:
The face of the brand - Mr. Ramakant Choksi, a chemical engineer by profession and moved back to India after working in Germany for many years to create the first of it's kind showroom in Alkapuri, Vadodara has always been an integral part of what makes jewellery buying a complete experience. He has spent decades creating an experience that makes our customers like family. That love has trickled down through generations and that is what owning a family business should feel like.
Taking the same legacy of R Narayan Jewellers forward are Ravi & Tosha Chokshi. The husband-wife duo have reinvented the brand to create unique and extraordinary pieces that can be a part of all modern day heirlooms, handed down from one generation to the next. Different elements & techniques have been brought together to blend the traditional with modern aesthetics to build pieces of wearable art.
Our Story
ABOUT R NARAYAN JEWELLERS
For Ravi & Tosha Chokshi, design has been a representation of putting together the passion and sensibilities of their grandfather with the contemporary techniques of today. Ravi, who was studying finance realized that his bond towards the family legacy and gemstones was stronger and memories of his childhood spent learning little details about jewellery led him to get a degree from GIA to really understand metals and precious stones. Tosha, who is a visual artist by education, turned all her focus to design and creation of beautiful pieces of art when she joined the family. Her ideology lies in designing pieces that represent strong individuals of today and creating practical, aesthetic styles and in turn to be given to daughters, sisters, mothers & friends for generations to come.
